The Lambaréné Hospital - since 1913 at the pulse of the life

vue_hopitalThe Hospital accepts all people who are ill or have had an accident. It's an un-political organization and doesn't prefer any religion. In a year the following figures are achieved:

40,000 patient examinations,
5000 operations,
600 births,
80,000 labor-tests
4000 dental treatments.

The hospital's concerns include physical patients, the socially deprived and elderly people. Leprosy is treated in the "Village des Lumières" (Village of Light). The research unit at the Hospital is researching into Malaria and other tropical diseases.

More information about the new hospital you'll find on the Site of the Hospital Foundation FISL.
