Exhibition: “Reverence for Life” by Udo Topsnik, until December 23, 2025

About Udo Topsnik:

I was born in Freiburg im Breisgau, and even as a child I played at being a photographer with an old camera that didn’t use film. As a young father, I no longer had time to devote to photography. It was only when my children became independent that I was able to start taking photos again.

Thanks to my excursions as a dog sled driver, I developed a deep connection with nature and wild animals. My interest in nature and wildlife photography grew.

By observing and photographing wild animals, I learned a lot about nature, the life that exists within it, and the importance of protecting and preserving it. For me, photography is about capturing the beauty and details of nature.

The photos on display here were all taken around my home in Urschenheim.

Today, I know that the lives of all beings on the planet are part of nature’s plan. By protecting nature, we also preserve life.

The inauguration will take place on Thursday, October 16 at 5 p.m.
